If you are a survivor of a sexual assault and you have undergone a forensic medical exam (FME) in Georgia, this page provides you with resources to understand and use the state's Sexual Assault Kit Tracking System (SAKTS) to obtain information about your sexual assault kit.
Accessing the SAKTS Survivor Portal:
- Frequently Asked Questions about SAKTS (in English and Spanish), including what information is contained in the system and what to do if you have misplaced your PIN: sakts-faq-for-survivors.pdf
- Instructions on how to access the portal:sakts-survivor-log-in-instructions.pdf

Previously Unsubmitted/Untested Kits:
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is in the process of testing previously unsubmitted sexual assault kits, as mandated by SB 304, which passed in 2016. A Notification Portal was developed to provide assistance to survivors of sexual assault who believe their kit may not have previously been tested. Survivors may click here to be taken to the Notification Portal to communicate their notification preferences regarding potentially reopened investigations and prosecutions.
