June 12 - 14, 2024 

Course Requirements: 

1. The course evaluation must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST on Friday, June 21, 2024, for continuing education credit.
2. Your SANE Pediatric Didactic training must be completed before Monday, June 10, 2024. 
3. A confirmation email will be sent to you two weeks prior to the start of the training.  You must provide a final confirmation by 5:00 pm EST on Friday, May 31, 2024, to guarantee your spot in this training.  If you do not provide email notification of your final confirmation by this date, your spot will be given to the next person on the waiting list.

You are required to bring the following items with you to the training:

1. You must bring your Child Abuse Assessment Workbook.  If you do not already have one, go here to order: Child Sexual Abuse Assessment – STM Learning
2. Download and bring the attached 'Interpretation of medical findings in suspected sexual abuse: An update for 2023.
3. Supplies to bring: colorful Play-Doh (small canister).

Please note:

• This course is provided free of charge.  Travel expenses are not covered by this training.
• Registration does not guarantee acceptance into the course; you will receive an email to confirm your admission status.
• Registration priority is given to nurses that are practicing (or will be practicing) in Georgia based CACs.

Nursing Contact Hours:

This activity has been submitted to Georgia Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. Georgia Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation
